Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Muamer (معمر) is a construction project management service delivered through a mobile app (iOS and Android). We operate the service under the Muamer trade name. The official contact channel for this policy and for exercising your rights is support@muamer.net.
2. What data we collect, and why
a. Account data
- Your name, email address, and phone number when you create an account.
- Sign-in data: an encrypted password, or a Google / Apple sign-in link if you choose one.
b. Organization and project data
- What an organization enters in the app while running its business: financial transactions, photos and attachments, activity records, project data.
- Records organization owners enter about team members and clients (names and contact details) — these are the organization's own business records.
c. Technical data
- Basic operational logs required for service security and stability.
Purposes and lawful bases: operating the service and performing our contract with you; securing accounts and preventing abuse (a legitimate interest bounded by your rights); and meeting legal obligations where they exist. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.
3. What happens when you delete your account
Account deletion is available inside the app and is immediate and permanent: it removes the account itself, its sign-in methods, its sessions, and every link between your identity and the account. Full steps are on the account deletion page.
Exactly three categories survive account deletion, disclosed here and inside the app before you confirm:
- An unreadable verification fingerprint: a one-way, salted hash of your email — it reveals neither your email nor any personal detail — kept for the sole purpose of preventing abuse of the free evaluation period through re-registration. We re-review the justification for keeping it at least every three years, renewing or ending the retention.
- Organization content you helped create: what you recorded while working inside an organization (transactions, photos, activity) is that organization's business record and stays with it, displaying the member name the organization keeps in its own records — with no link to your deleted account.
- Records organizations entered about you: member roster names and contact details an organization keeps in its own books — the organization's business records, exactly like a paper ledger.
Categories (2) and (3) persist as long as the organization itself does: we impose no separate horizon on them, and they are removed wholesale if the organization is deleted.
4. Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification, its erasure, or the withdrawal of your consent to processing.
The primary erasure path is in-app account deletion (immediate, self-serve). If you cannot access the app, use the fallback path described on the account deletion page.
Requests concerning records an organization entered about you (category 3 above) are answered within the same window; the substantive answer follows record ownership — those are the organization's business records, and we direct you accordingly.
5. Where data is stored
App data is hosted on secured servers which may be located outside the Arab Republic of Egypt; any cross-border processing is subject to the controls of Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law 151/2020) and its Executive Regulations.
6. This website does not track you
muamer.net is a static site: no cookies, no trackers, and no measurement tools run in your browser. Contact happens over external channels you choose yourself (Telegram or email).
7. Changes to this policy
On any material change we update the effective date at the top and announce the change on this page itself.
